Some compositions are like rainbows. Beautiful, unreachable and supernatural. Etudes by Ligetis for piano are like this, and even more. A devils composition. Inspired by the winds of the Sahara they combine african polyrhythms with spectral colors of illusion. A salute to the sky from hell!
